Paramount Australia & New Zealand

Maybe 10 isn’t planning on using the Paramount name for a while, all their new signage for pride has 10 ViacomCBS.
Unless they didn’t know the rebrand was coming. The new Adelaide office also has the 10 ViacomCBS logo.

The old Adelaide news desk/set can be spotted in one of those Pride photos. Soon to be dismantled, I suppose.

Maybe they could present the Brisbane bulletin from there instead of having a mish-mash of pre-recorded windows and live segments? :joy:

I think the next federal election will be a real test of Paramounts commitment to news in australia. personally, i’d do something like the election project on polling night - something light that doesn’t appeal to the political junkies as the ABC especially has that sewn up.

have segments focusing on gaffes of the campaign, perhaps some comedians revoicing news footage to be funny and even some pranks.

keep it light and breezy whilst covering the election

Something like a chaser style election coverage?

But without the structure?

pretty much

as i envisage this on election night you can’t have too much of a structure anyway

Paramount Australia & New Zealand Announces All Screens Sales Leadership Appointments.

Paramount Australia & New Zealand today announced key sales leadership appointments, advancing commitments to capturing the collective power of its assets across all screens.

Under the new changes, all advertising revenue including Network 10, 10 Play and Paramount+ will fall within the national sales All Screens team, led by Lisa Squillace, National Sales Director, and the state sales directors.

Lisa said: “I am excited to be working across All Screens as we advance to a converged trading model. We have a fantastic team and I look forward to bringing new ways of selling to the market.”

Diane Ho has been appointed to Director of Digital Sales, owning the development and delivery of the Paramount digital sales strategy and national digital advertising revenue.

Diane will report to the Chief Sales Officer, Rod Prosser. Working closely with Lisa, Diane and the digital sales team will work in conjunction with the state sales directors, and the broader sales team to unify and monetise Paramount’s digital assets.

Diane said: “I’m thrilled to take on the role of Director of Digital Sales at such an exciting time in our business and industry. As a global media and entertainment company, Paramount is uniquely placed in this market.

“I look forward to working with an exceptional and passionate team on the next phase of our digital growth locally in Australia and delivering strong outcomes for our clients and agency partners.”

Shani Kugenthiran joins Paramount in the newly created role of Digital Advertising Strategy & Product Director, responsible for digital commercial innovation strategy and progressive client solutions.

Shani said: “I’m delighted to be driving Paramount’s development of commercial experiences that brings audiences closer to brands. I’m committed to setting new standards for engaging audiences by reinvigorating commercial experiences across our streaming environments with progressive solutions.”

Of the appointments, Rod said: “I am proud to be making all three of these announcements as we propel towards an all-screen proposition in the market.

“Lisa has demonstrated great ability and energy while leading the broadcast team and I have no doubts that same enthusiasm will help drive our all-screen strategy across our team and the market.

“I look forward to welcoming both Di and Shani to the Sales leadership team. Di is a skilled sales leader with solid broadcast experience and extensive digital understanding, making her a perfect candidate to lead Paramount’s digital sales strategy. Shani’s expertise in commercialising digital products and her client-first approach, makes her a valuable strength to our commercial strategy.

“The future of audience consumption spans across all screens, making total content measurement and monetisation more important than ever for a world-leading entertainment company such as Paramount.”

The tagline needs to change, the week of good stuff is over.

Perhaps it could be “we’ve got the good stuff” or something like that - debatable whether it’s true but better than flogging the same line (same can’t be said for the repetition of the same content).
