On This Day

Man that ride is old, but was still one of my favourites, at the very back of the park. Believe they closed it a few years ago, after a series of faults.

It is still operating, but my understanding is it is closed right now for refurb. The closure a few years ago was to replace the old trains as well as redo the station, but the ride is still going strong and will likely still be there for a long while given they invested into it a few years ago.

Back then Nine used to have a close relationship with the parks, sponsoring the old Looney Tunes River Ride, Hey Hey filming multiple shows there, filming this, and Kids WB regularly visiting the park (and the kids land named after the show).

Never knew Gina spent time at Seven. Thought she was always at Nine.

Did a lot at 7 in a brief stint. Was a researcher on TWT for a little bit then was a presenter for much of 1989. TVAM, some weekend news, and then finished off at NewsWorld.

That seems like such a weird choice in 2009, Like has it been 2005 when she was still hosting Big Brother and the show was still doing good it would make a lot of sense but 2009 it just seems weird.

This feels very much of that era.

This was a great show, I recall it being popular and having a good run too

This was one of my favourite factuals, sad it only went for two seasons IIRC. Another, also around this time, was Keeping Up With The Joneses.
