Is any MediaSpy member here thinking about paying $20 bucks to stream the premium Olympics coverage ? Wonder how many people will .

I wouldn’t think so.

Just a note, if you are a Telstra mobile customer you can get the premium Olympics on 7 package for free.

I will, mainly for enthusiast purposes.

No event information for next Thursday for 7HD Perth. A sign of things to come

Actually that was my question not Sifon’s.

7 Perth epg guide has 7 hd from 6 August

I will

(But I’m a Telstra 4G mobile customer… So thanks @JohnsonTV, apparently I get it for free).

It’s not really worth it considering the time zone. The three free channels will be enough considering will be either sleeping or at work during life coverage.

Would it really have been so hard to include a mention of this in one of their many press releases? Would have saved us all a lot of bitching.

Where is the fun in that?

Nah - it’s been amusing and bizarre to see this forum in a merry-go-round fashion assume what Seven might or might not do and proclaim the “sky is falling” if their main Olympic broadcast isn’t in HD based on pure speculation…

Amusing and tiresome.

How Cool is it to Have Seven Broadcasting the Opening Ceremony Live Unlike NBC who want to screen it in Primetime despite Rio being One Hour Ahead of New York.

That’s a primetime replay on 7.

NBC are notorious for this shit. They’re virtually in the same time zone and they’re broadcasting it on delay. Completely ridiculous.
