Oh no, not that song again!

Love all these. I thought I was sick of Summer Rain but I had a good listen to it the other day for the first time in a while and it’s still a banger of a tune for me.

Lol!

In this eco friendly age, I’d just buy her an LED torch.

“Leave A Torch On”.

4BH played a song today that I’ve hated for years now,
Aerosmith, “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing “:-1::-1:

THE worst (popular) song from the 90s imo. It beats out plenty of other worthy contenders.

What makes it 10x worse is that Aerosmith is a pretty decent band, yet they put out this tripe to make a quick buck. Contrast it, too, with ‘Falling In Love (Is So Hard On The Knees)’ from the same Aerosmith era.

It sucks the bulk of their output is ignored here, Their '70s albums are great but the only song you get from that period is “Walk This Way”

There is another.

I’d be more annoyed about how no radio station plays their other big hit from a few years later “Jaded”, a personal favourite of mine.

I love that song as well, Best song from what is a pretty bad album.

This song was from the movie “Armageddon “? I think

Yes, movies are always good for a stinker or two. Celine Dion, anyone?

Nevertheless, the point about making some dough still stands.

Not always.

One of my favourite albums is the soundtrack to “The Secret Of My Success” from the Michael J Fox film of the same name. There really isn’t a dud track on that album.

The title track, by Night Ranger is the highlight for me. Very American sounding song, but i think it works really well in that instance.

My favourite from Aerosmith is Dream On

I think it may have been written into Will Smith’s contract that he had to also do the main song for the soundtrack for a couple of his movies.

When I was in Woolworths, they played that song Fly Away from Tones and I. That song has had a lot of overplay on radio and on TV.

I wish that song would ‘fly away’ too (and not come back).

Unfortunately due to the sheer amount Tones and I (and Dance Monkey in particular) were so overplayed, pretty much the only thing I can listen to now featuring Tones and I now is her in Macklemore’s Chant.

I will defend My Heart Will Go On as a strong track til the day I die.
