Never heard of him. Is he Vince’s brother? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I meant to say Vince Colosimo, who appeared in shows like Underbelly. He was supposed to compete in I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here earlier this year, but he was charged with drug possession and fined $1000.

He is currently appearing in The Warriors on the ABC.

###What Does The Future Hold For Billie?

Premieres Wednesday, 28 June At 8.30pm

Australia’s much-loved family drama Offspring makes its highly-anticipated return to television next week – and fans are eager to find out what the future holds for Billie.

All will be revealed when season seven premieres on Wednesday, 28 June at 8.30pm, only on TEN and WIN Network.

Starring TV Week Gold Logie winner Asher Keddie and AACTA Award winner Kat Stewart as sisters Nina and Billie Proudman, Offspring follow the chaotic lives of the extended Proudman family.

While her husband Mick (Eddie Perfect) has based himself in the UK to further his burgeoning music career, Billie has found herself emotionally torn, as her close family connections and life commitments have kept her in Australia.

Taking her responsibilities as Zoe’s (Isabella Monaghan) aunt seriously, Billie’s maternal instincts have also kicked in as guardian to teenager Brody (Shannon Berry) and her newborn baby. Plus, Billie has finally found her career mojo, working alongside Kerry (Ash Ricardo) as a recruitment specialist. Her life might be full of love, but it is certainly complicated.

As the difficulties of maintaining a long-distance marriage with Mick become impossible to ignore, Billie knows that she is going to have to make major decisions about her future.

I got halfway through and it cut out, can anyone share with me what the big dinner was for ?

I sent you a message.

Osher Günsberg Guest Stars In Offspring.

Wednesday 19 July At 8.45pm

Things are going well for loved-up couple Nina (Asher Keddie) and Harry (Alexander England). Nina has even managed to get a couple of days off work. She could relax and take a day to herself, but that would not be the Nina audiences have come to know and love.

When Nina discovers Harry’s ex-girlfriend of 10 years, Georgie (Emily Barclay), has unexpectedly returned to Melbourne, she jumps at the chance to invite Georgie over for dinner and get to know her. But in doing so, Nina has inadvertently created the most romantic date in the world.

Confronted by the complexity of Harry and Georgie’s relationship, Nina quickly regrets her decision when she discovers the true scale of Harry and Georgie’s history.

But just what is The Bachelor Australia host Osher Günsberg doing at the dinner party?

Osher said: “I was over the moon to work with Australian acting royalty Asher Keddie. She was absolutely wonderful and so patient with me despite my potato-quality acting skills.

“It was very strange being in Nina’s house, with bills on the fridge addressed to Nina and with Proudman family photos everywhere. To play a real person in a fictional world is a real honour. It’s an exclusive club I feel humbled to be a part of. Do they do Logies for best cameo in a drama series?”

When it becomes evident that Georgie has returned to Melbourne intending to win Harry back, Nina and Harry’s relationship is pulled sharply into focus as they are forced to question where they stand.

Last night’s episode was fantastic :grinning:

Powerful, emotional & funny.

Such a shame it was on SOO night though.

Osher ep looks intriguing!

It will just be a dream sequence at the start of the episode I’m sure. Haha

I agree though, yesterday’s ep and this season in general is an improvement on last season. So much seems to be happening each week.

What an emotional roller-coaster tonight’s episode was. Best episode of the season so far… probably of the last few years tbh!

Ten programming chief Beverley McGarvey told the Sydney Morning Herald that 41% of Offspring’s audience watched the show within a week of broadcast, up from 28% in 2016. She added:

It’s very unlikely we’re going to have a new season of Offspring on Ten next year – but we’re not saying you’ll never see the Proudmans on Ten again.
…we’re still in the early stages of looking at (a potential spin-off).

Herald Sun reports today Offspring will probably not get the 8th season as Asher Keddie eyes more overseas work.

Do we need to have that repeatedly reported? This must be about the third time this year we’ve had that “news” reported. They came to the same conclusion the last two times so why report it again?
