I think Voss left because he wasn’t happy about Ray Hadley being brought in to call games ahead of him. So its Nine’s own fault really.
But then I’m happy with Thompson, Psaltis and Speed as the callers. They do a decent job.

Interesting alignment of the network & 9Now logo there, the 9’s look to be the same size which makes the app logo dwarf the other. Perhaps intentional to push streaming.

Hell No… If they get Dan Ginane in, I will switch off. I hate his bias to New South Wales team everytime I watch a Melbourne Storm Game. I’ve enjoyed the lack of Bias to New South Wales since Gus Gould is not doing as much commentary. He still think he is on radio calling the game(Ray Hadley use to do it when on Channel Nine)
I think Channel Nine has let go probally there Best caller and he is now at Fox. Andrew Voss is the one to go to in my opinion but I do not think he goes back.

Agree, Nine would have to pay overs to get him back anyway and they won’t do that.
And it would make them look silly for dumping him down to No 3 caller in the first place.

During the NRL broadcasts, Johnathon Thurston appears in a New Zealand tourism advert with a lady who looks a bit like their former PM, Jacinta Ardern. Is it her?

I wonder if she’ll be the main host while Bracey is in Paris. Her and Peter Psaltis will be doing all the heavy lifting for NRL while everybody is in Paris. Like how Sterlo and Vossy did in 2012.

I think Danika Mason will be James Bracey’s fill-in while he is at the Olympics. She’s been a great host and co-host since joining Nine’s coverage.
Peter Psaltis will probably be the main caller, as he still hasn’t ventured put to being an on-screen talent.
