Slightly different scenario than normal as this is a āNineā game. But it was unlikely Fox would do anything different.
I agree. Probably only getting an SD feed from Fox Sports or Sky Sports NZ.
Oddly, the watermark appears to be in SD yet the scoreboard graphics are HD.
No, I believe it has been in use since 9NOW launched several months ago. It is used because Nine doesnāt have the rights to broadcast the NRL live online.

Nine used the SKY feed, I watched it through FOX as I rather the SKY commentary.
Is it me, or is the Sky NZ guys very biased towards the Warriors?
Pretty sure most people would agree they are biased. But they are the local commentators and only call Warriors games.

Looks like 2017 will be Ray Warrenās last year. From a Phil Rothfield interview:

the only person capable of replacing him would be Matthew Thompsonā¦donāt think Hadley would give up his morning show to commit full time to the job. Doesnāt Nine have Ben Dobbin also to do PBP? he does some of the QLD Cup

I do enjoy Mat Thompsonās callsā¦ I find him easier to listen to than Ray Warren.

Is FOX really trying to poach all of the best talent Nine has? Theyāve got Sterlo, now they are going after Yvonne? seems to me FOX wants to get rid of all of their hosts(expect Matty)

If I was Nine, Iād investigate whether Ben Ikin has interest in play by play calling. Think heās a very good broadcaster.
After what i heard during a Raiders Panthers game in 08 when Vossy was sick, iām not so sure that Ben Ikin can do play by play.
