Jamie Soward called the Titans Knights game, jeez they must be short.
Yeah, Jamie Soward was never a very tall player

Chris warren get the punt?
And Julian Daw looks to have signed with Crocmedia, good caller.
I’ve noticed you never note the 2GB Continuous Call coverage.
Actually some of the stations that would in the past taken 2GB’s coverage are taking Crocmedia’s calls. 2NM for one. Have they stopped taking 2GB for footy or taking bits of both?
The Grant stations, as well as 2CC, would be taking both, whilst the Independently-owned stations, 2BS & 2LT, only take 2GB’s coverage.
For example, 2NM is taking the following NRL matches for this coming round:
- Newcastle Knights vs West Tigers (Crocmedia)
- South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Melbourne Storm (2GB)
- St George Illawarra Dragons vs NZ Warriors (Crocmedia)
- Parramatta Eels vs Gold Coast Titans (2GB)
- Sydney Roosters vs North Qld Cowboys (2GB)
- Cronulla Sharks vs Manly Sea Eagles (2GB)
- Penrith Panthers vs Canberra Raiders (Crocmedia)
Would they be the only non-ABC station to take every Friday to Sunday match?
In that front, yes. However, the Resonate stations in Outback QLD (exc 4GC), does it one better than 2NM, in which they air every NRL match from Thursdays to Sundays from Crocmedia & 2GB.
Macquarie Sports Radio in Melbourne also takes coverage of every Storm game from either Crocmedia or 2GB, depending on when it’s played.
Not 4GC still? Their content is more aligned to the rest of the Resonate stations than Triple M these days.
On ABC the pecking order usually for Sydney matches is Andrew Moore, then Corbin Middlemas, then Richard Svenson. If it’s a Newcastle match, then Craig Hamilton does it. If Corbin is doing a Swans match then Svenson or Hamilton does the second Sydney based match

Doesn’t really change much week to week
Seems to have got the punt from 2GB too. What’s happened to him?
^ Just notice that Brookvale Oval (where the Sea Eagles will host the Bulldogs on Saturday) will be renamed McGrath Foundation Stadium for this weekend only during the NRL Women in League round.
Ray Hadley is calling the 7:30pm game on 2GB tonight for some reason. Can’t remember the last time he called a regular season game on 2GB.
Making up for time he had off last weekend?
