Michael “Wippa” Wipfli, Matt De Groote tested negative. They also had Angela Bishop on the phone, who was part of the segment with Richard Wilkins last week. She also tested negative. They’re all staying in isolation for 14 days though.

With Triple J doing two hottest 100 countdowns so far this year, now it’s Nova’s turn. With them embracing the Throwback, they are doing the Nova throwback 300 this easter.
Hopefully we can get some semi decent songs into the countdown.
My three songs-
- Jump around -House of Pain
- Get your Freak on - Missy Elliott
- Smells like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
With there being 300 songs I might have a chance of them getting in sonewhere.

On Nova 96.9, Sarah and Matt are doing the 6-7am slot alone with Fitzy and Wippa doing the normal show in the 7-9am slot.
Thst mentioned this would have been their holiday break normally but they’re working through.

A very safe and boring countdown with the only out there song Africa by Toto which you hear sometimes on Nova 106.9. None of my songs made the countdown. Was it rigged to make it look like people actually like these same Safe overplayed throwbacks that Nova 96.9 flogs to death???

The old Nova is dead and buried by PJ & Co. Nova 96.9 now resembles Mix106.5 specially with the music that made this countdown.
I would have thought that Brisbane listeners would have got some more alternative songs into the countdown. Obviously we can see the direction Nova 106.9 is heading now that Jay is gone.
