Could it just be temporary because Chrissie Swan needs more time to recover from her recent surgery? And then they need to find a new offsider for her in the afternoons?

I heard a new promo yesterday that said RLT was “filling in for Chrissie Swan from 2-3pm” so it seems more likely related to her recovery and sourcing a new EP/Anchor to replace Jack.

Nikki Osborne is back with Mitch Churi today. He mentioned that she had been injured. She said she must be cursed because first it was a dog bite and then she bashed her nose.
She sounds like she is not in the stufio. Maybe doing it ftom home. Sounds like there might be a tiny delay which is causing them to interrupt each other in the conversations.
I agree. A bit odd as it’s only 1/3 (Susie) who’s back for breakfast. Unless they mean Ducko is also back from when he used to produce for the show?

I think that’s exactly what it’s about.
If that is the reason then to still be playing a “back for breakfast” promo in October is an interesting idea.
Nova106.9 is just trying to counter-program/market against KIIS973 with the whole, “Hey! Your favourite breakfast team is back!”
Yeah… nah.
This entire don’t think just nova campaign comes across very “how do you do, fellow kids”, it would work if the personalities in this campaign were about 20 years younger..

I really don’t think they’re trying to appeal to mostly younger listeners like they used to. It just feels to me like Nova are happy to appeal to the demographic that has listened to them for 25 years and just try to keep them.
