Sorry but that show is too gay for me and I’m married to a dude. It was fine when Kate and Marty added something different, but now there’s three of the same person. Loud, obnoxious and not very funny.

Each to their own. There was a veiled level of sexism and bullying in the past (often not so subtle). I think it’s good that it’s no longer happening. You can stick to Triple M for that.

I stopped listening to that show and pretty much Nova when Marty left. The show was never the same after he left.
The same when Peter Moon left the 2day fm morning crew back in the late 90’s the new host Greg Fleet was no Peter Moon.

Yes, some people do listen for the talk, but if you want more music and less talk, there are alternatives.
I’m not fan of Spotify, I’d rather a good quality curated playlist on the radio, with some ads and news at the top of the hour.

Nova Jamz has a different logo, and there’s now a Nova All-Stars station (no clue what it’s replaced)

Nova All Stars are playing back to back Taylor Swift songs.
Will be interesting to see if they switch to Oasis songs in November to coincide with their Australian tour.

Ben Liam & Belle’s last show on Nova was last Friday. The sudden change in end date make it almost certain that they’re going to pop up somewhere else next year.

As, i posted in the Kiis thread. It would appear Ben and Liam (but potentially not Belle) informed Nova today that they have agreed to host KIIS Adelaide breakfast next year. Leading to the decision to wrap up their Nova show, effective immediately.

An interesting wrinkle to their departure:
Ben, Liam & Belle have been running a competition in their final two weeks, where the winners will attend Oasis’ Melbourne concert(s?) with Liam in Nova’s corporate box at Marvel Stadium. (I can’t find the ‘Ts and Cs’ now that BLB - apart from their podcast - have been scrubbed from Nova’s website.)
That’s going to be an entertaining night for Holly from Melbourne and Jo from Adelaide, whether or not Liam attends! (Not that he needs to attend - he’s already been to the first reunion concert in Cardiff earlier this year.)

I was wondering what might happen with the current sponsor partnerships and competitions ending prematurely. I bet Liam will still tag along just because! They did say Nova saved him the ticket so who knows lol.

Nova might be hesitant about making big changes now. They might wait and see how KIIS and Gold go with their new line-ups before making radical changes.

Nova have been known to make changes during the year. Marty Sheargold quit in October and was replaced by Joel Creasey. He had obviously signed with Triple M and left to start in the new year after the non-compete clause had ended. Just like Smallzy has done now with KIIS.
Last time, after one or two surveys in the new year, they dropped Sarah from Fitzy and Wippa and moved Kate from Drive. Then they made Rikki Lee permanent in Drive after she had been filling in for Kate.
