This isnât new for Fitzy, Wippa and Kate.
It appears Nova donât follow the ratings periods, instead itâs choosing to align breaks with the school holidays instead.
Theyâve been doing this for a long time now. Nothing learnt from Nova 100. Doing it well before Jase and Lauren came along.

Maybe she will take a break from her radio gig or like has been mentioned the live shows are likely only a couple of nights a week, which Iâm sure wonât be too hard to work around. Wherever itâs filmed there will be Nova studios close by.

Iâm surprised itâs not been mentioned but Nova have been airing a breakfast show this week in Brisbane while Ash, Luttsy and Susie have been away.

According to Annette Sharp in The Daily Telegraph, questions have been raised over Kate Ritchieâs absence from Nova breakfast this week. Insiders say when Ritchie didnât arrive for her 6.30am start on Monday, producers became worried when they phoned her and she didnât answer. After increasing panic, she was eventually found, prompting a conversation about her taking a weekâs leave at short notice. However, a Nova executive said this was incorrect and she called in sick on Sunday.

Eddie McGuire was also a guest. After his radio appearance, he did a live cross to Today and launched a scathing attack on Kane Cornes and Caroline Wilson defecting from Footy Classified.

Eddie also congratulated them on taking the number 1 FM ratings. These guys are very respected within the Melbourne media. They definitely have a lot of support across the board.
