This is one of the most intriguing aspects of the battle which is about to unfold.
For a long time Melbourne FM breakfast has been one of the most competitive radio shifts youâll find anywhere with a rich history of popular (and in some cases, iconic) shows. Over a few years, Jase & Lauren built a loyal audience base which grew over time. When Kyle & Jackie O decided that theyâll start broadcasting into Melbourne, they couldnât have imagined that not only would they be competing against well established shows on the likes of Fox and Gold but theylâll be up against the very show they pushed out of the way to facilitate their expansion. As such, they donât even get the benefit of building upon an established base since an overwhelming majority of Jase & Laurenâs listeners will likely follow them to Nova.

Great.
They didnât paint a pretty picture of Kiss FM this morning (between 620-700). I feel there is going to be a lot of support for these guys. Iâm now on board.
