Sounds like they’ve updated the sponsor bed to match the news/traffic themes from this week.
Two possibilities here… Either Nova staff read Mediaspy religiously and had to call back the sound agency for more work once we pointed it out, OR they did have one produced and just forgot to implement it nationally in Zetta.
My money is on the former

Jase & Lauren to present Nova 100 breakfast
Very interesting that there’s a new national show between Ricki-Lee, Tim and Joel and Smallzy. So Best of Fitzy and Wippa is gone.
Ben, Liam & Belle, will host a new national show, Late Drive, from 6pm to 8pm weekdays.
Great move by Nova. Hope it succeeds.
While it’s great to see Jase and Lauren returning to FM breakfast, spare a thought for Ben, Liam and Belle. Their breakfast show had been struggling in recent surveys so something had to be done.
In the final radio ratings survey of 2023, Nova 100 had 5.0% share in breakfast, 7.4% in drive (4pm to 7pm) and 6% share in evenings (7pm to 10pm).
Hopefully Stanaway rejoins them too

Nova also announced that it would introduce a new live and local workday slot from 9am-2pm.
The new slot will be hosted by Mel Tracina in Melbourne, Adam Price in Sydney, Daniel Cassin in Adelaide, Maddy Rowe in Brisbane and Ross Wallman in Perth.
Start date ASAP? Monday? They’ll want to get ahead of Kyle and Jackie coming to Melbourne

I think Nova may wait until after Easter to launch Jase and Lauren. The final Friday of survey 1 period is March 30, while the first Monday of survey 2 is April 14.
Great move by Nova. Jase and Lauren were making some traction at breakfast on KIIS 101.1 so it will be interesting to see if they help boost Nova’s breakfast share in Melb.

Poor things going to national drive
Nova won’t dump existing breakfast newsreader Ash Gardner (not the cricketer) for Clint. I think Ash is doing a good job.

At least initially. I’m sure there’s other things to be worked around with his Nine contract and existing talent at Nova. Or he had fun last year but is focusing elsewhere now.
Ben, Liam & Belle would be a much better successor to Kate, Tim & Joel (although Tim Blackwell is brilliant IMO).
How good. Great Work Nova! Jase & Lauren are a great show - and Fitzy, Wipp & Kate sounding very strong at the moment in Sydney!!
