Nine (WIN)

A new version of this?

It will be a first 4K channel for Australian FTA TV.

And here’s my answers based on probability

  1. Likely - As they may already have the suitable connections to fill another shopping channel.
  2. Very unlikely - Unless they can get some exclusive media deals, which is extremely unlikely in of itself.
  3. Unlikely - Who wants to watch endless stale repeats of news?
  4. Most probably - Shopping channels make money for the networks.
  5. Impossible - This requires DVB-T2 which would mean transmitter replacements, something that I have a feeling would be very costly to WIN and that the majority of the audience would not be able to watch.

No, the placeholder from 2016

Like this:

WIN: 8

WIN HD: 80

9Gem: 81

9Go!: 82

9Life: 83

GOLD: 85

Oh, I do!

If Viewer Access Satellite Television does that, I figured it might be a good idea for FTA.

It would have the channel lineup just like WIN did from 2016 to 2018.

Thanks for providing more context.

But @Marko_Zanghellini, I already did that in 2023:

OK I think we’re done with the mock idea

Oh yeah, minus the copyright 2023 and replace it with copyright 2025 or copyright 2026.

Saw a Bo Jeong Christmas ident in Canberra today.

Whilst flicking through channels, I’ve noticed that the WIN breakaway program has the 3D Nine logo.

Not the best quality but anyway

It’s still the same during Tipping Point Australia.

Would VAST reshuffle the WIN regional news to make space for Mildura again after 10 years?

I was thinking of getting VAST but It would have costed me $800 so I decided not to.

Now it’s only $485 for a decoder and a satellite dish.

Saw the watermark get lowered yesterday in A Current Affair than before.
