10 are very selective with freeview.
Unlike 7, they dont allow you to watch everything, and nine requires you to download the app and register for an account before you can use it
Their websites states that they import left-hand drive pick-ups and convert them to right-hand drive. And:
So it appears their market is larger than just where they are located.
To @Andyt30, @charlie, and @NormanBates2021…
I feel very sorry for youse down in Western Victoria with WIN and SCA channel switch. I lived at 8 Walker Street, Ballarat North back in 2012 and I thought WIN TV as a whole down there was fine.
dont forget about me either:) i now live in ballarat as well:D and yes wintv back in 2012 was fine till 2016
Sorry @JasonF, my mistake.
I see the issue being that at 6pm viewers are currently forced to choose between local news and national news. There is no longer a more convenient “news hour” type option of local and national views or vice versa from 6pm. The 5pm news on WIN/TEN is too early for most viewers.
another example of outer-suburban small businesses advertising on regional stations instead of metropolitan.
So I see 42 new replies in the WIN Television thread thinking something has happened. What do I find? A Ballarat picnic and Jeza’s long showers. Disappointed.
I have been thinking the same.
Coming soon from Crawfords DVD.
Tim Bail-the water out in time for weather. Sorry, couldn’t resist.
I’m still surprised WIN isn’t just a test pattern on 5 channels.
do WIN’s Nine-affiliated stations still feel the same after the 2016 regional switch?
just asking as a personal question.
7 Darwin airs an ad in prime time promoting a caravan dealer in South Australia.
They shouldn’t because they are all Nine branded. Lowest cost operation possible.
that would probably be Noel’s Caravans which is in Adelaide. The ad is on Imparja (VAST) as well
That jingle is one to remember.
So…does anyone think WIN and Nine will patch things up?
I doubt it, unless SCA is sold to someone like ViacomCBS, and their hands are forced.
