Why isn’t De Minaur v Sinner the 7pm prime time game? Crazy scheduling to start it around 5.30pm then move it to 9Go! at 6pm due to News.

It was scheduled for 2pm but delayed as both previous matches ran long.
Judging by the first set this match could easily end up running all the way through primetime anyway.

Yeah they can’t do anything about the two previous women’s matches going for three sets each, the first lasting nearly 3 hours, and the second going for 2.5 hours.
And while De Minaur’s match has obvious draw cards for the Australian audience, he is only the 32 seed and his opponent is seeded 11. Meanwhile you have Tsitsipas and Sabelenka, the 4th and 2nd seeds respectively, also playing today and they are arguably bigger matches.

I think this match will be over in a hour.
Match was scheduled for 2.30pm start of play. Started late, that’s tennis when you schedule 4 games in a session.
The Fritz v Tsitsipas game was scheduled for 7.15pm because Tsitsipas is the top ranked player on this side of the draw.
It’s the standard 3 matches day time session.
The seed of the player has no bearing on the prime time slot. If that was the case, Medvedev would have got that slot.
Actually right! I hate 9Go! since its in SD, not HD so i need to watch it on 9Now which has 9Go! in HD. I really wish all FTA channels had some sort of HD compatibility. 99% of TV’s nowadays should have HD so I don’t know why its taking so long.
Nine News Brisbane finished at 7pm tonight then after an opening for tennis, went straight to ads. After 30 minutes, there has been no live tennis shown.

Gem had tennis. The game that was on was the 1:30 pm game so there was delayed as always after that they had a short concert for LBGT day (non-official) No idea what time this was originally meant to start, but this concert is what was causing the delay.
That sounds like a bad connection.

No. Connection is fine.
It asks me to log onto my phone and enter the code on my tv.
Maybe I don’t access 9Now enough.
Anyway, after all that I still couldn’t see any love tennis.
You shouldn’t have to do that each time, maybe try uninstalling the app on the TV and installing again. You should only have to do it once.

Sadly, the centre court night match and TV schedule is tailored to eastern daylight time (Sydney and Melbourne - obviously the largest and core commercial markets).
Whenever other markets leave and re-join at various stages of varying matches is just good or bad luck and can be awkward not as smooth, always been like that the past decade.
