Something needs to Change Local Content Regulations as 4BC is like HSV 7 back in 1987 where Sydney Interests tooked Over, Welcome to Brisbane, Sydney’s Newest Suburb we’ll call it.
Shall we get the Save Brisbane Radio Stickers Printed???
Yeah its sad isn’t it. No more 4BC…
Does 4BC still have a half hour real estate show and a half hour sports show on Saturday morning, or were they axed too?
Yeah they do but we need take Action against MacQuarie Media for their Mistreatment of 4BC.
Only problem is that Macquarie will simply site the increased ratings that Jones and Hadley brought to 4BC.
I mean sure, they could have opted not to run the station into the ground in the first place…
I don’t think people bother complaining to ACMA given their lack of response…
And don’t they do a local SportZone on a Friday night?
Technically Sportzone is a Crocmedia programming product.
Really? You’re not thinking SportsDay?

In a press release today, Crocmedia said that syndicated Sportsday and Sportzone programs across the country had grown in surveys for metropolitan areas in Survey #1.
Save 4BC Drive.
From Radioinfo:
Last steps under way for the full sale of Macquarie Radio to Nine Entertainment
Nine Entertainment’s offer for the remaining shares in Macquarie Media has been deemed “fair and reasonable” to shareholders by independent expert PricewaterhouseCoopers.
radioinfo understands that insurance is one of the station’s biggest issues, with underwriters very reluctant to insure Jones and Hadley, who are now considered uninsurable for defamation.
The sale should be completed on 14 October.

Noted the stationery footer, still has Talking Lifestyle. I tried to tune in to my old favourite station but it has sports now never mind .
And still has SMA which was sold off.
Whilst its only minor detail , if I was writing to a Prime Minister of a country I would want that fixed.
3AW off the air
Cue the conspiracy theories in the Herald-Sun about Macquarie not providing 3AW with adequate funding for maintenance and upgrades. They beat up a story about John Burns being ditched from Melbourne’s top rating breakfast show in yesterday’s paper based on Macquarie looking for savings following the Jones/Price/Hadley fiasco in Sydney.
