Hope They Advertiser David Schawarz and Mark Allen on Channels 9,10 & 7 in Sydney & Brisbane this will help them become known in those two cities like they are know in Melbourne. also advertise David Morrow, Meka Buchen, Bill Woods Ciinton Maynard & Tim Webster on Channels 9,10 & 7 in Melbourne to get them more known in Melbourne like they are known in Sydney & Brisbane

Mediaweek reports MSR will broadcast the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games from the station’s first day tomorrow. Macquarie Media is the official AM commercial radio broadcaster of the Games.
Regular guests and contributors will include Leigh Matthews, Des Hasler, Mike Hussey, Mark Riddell and Andrew Gaze.
It can be interpreted as MSR having exclusive commercial rights to broadcast EPL matches. MSR will broadcast three full matches per week, unlike the BBC World Service coverage which usually broadcast only the second half of one Saturday match in full with score updates of first half.

The new MSR website currently has Mark Braybrook and Stephanie Brantz for Drive. Maybe temporary while the Comm Games is on?
Website also says Overnights will be talkSPORT’s “Hawksbee & Jacobs” and “Durham & Gough” shows until 4am. Then Clinton Maynard until 5.30am.

If they want to do national sports radio, they should have partnered up with Fox Sports or ESPN and maybe even had a TV/Radio show like The AM Show in NZ or Golic & Wingo on ESPN. Bill & Boz would have been a good show to have on radio as well as TV. There are many good sports podcasts that would work on a national sports radio station.

MRN of 2018 have no successes of their own doing, 3AW: inherited via acquisition & white anted at the edges, 2GB: Singo bought the talent (Jones, Hadley). They’ve never started anything that works.
Remember when MRN bought Brad Smart’s regional stations? Thought it was a grand plan to pump in 2GB to regional Qld; barely break even stations that Brad managed to turn a slim profit in non drought years were plunged into the red.
MTR a high profile failure, the egomanics around a boardroom table in Pyrmont, NSW thought it’d be a snap to take on 3AW.
MRN only have failures to revisit. They don’t employ the people to make it happen nor are willing to invest the required amount to make a success of it.
What of it is not?
He needs the money, likely still licking wounds from the 2009 financial wipe out.

Gina Rinehart told John Singleton he should buy them as they were radio stations for the mining industry, so he did. Just another stupid decision.
