Why do all 9 promos sound like a sports event?

It’s like a Super Bowl Commercial.

Sounded totally inappropriate for Big Miracles.

Oh no, you’ve got it all wrong! There’re just putting it under wraps towards the end of 2022, in order for the flat logos, and new On-Air Presentation to coincide with the beginning of the 2023 Australian Open, like how Sunrise kept their old logo but gradually phased it out when their relaunch occurred. Honest, you’ve got to believe me! :face_with_peeking_eye:

As per recent years the NRL promo gets the flat logo treatment

Is NRL normally promoted this early, might be a first, at least for Melbourne. Usually first see it during the Australian Open.

I wonder when there will be a relaunch? The current look has been used for 7 years, the longest in Nine history, and if you count the 2012 look it has been used for more than a decade. At least it isn’t as bad as 9Go, who have used the same stile of idents since Feb 2014.

At some point in the distant future we’ll see something new, but it doesn’t look like it will be next year.

Old 9Go! logo used on a Shrek promo:

Interestedly, the old 2012-2016 lower right bug is used for most of the promo, except at 0.26 to 0.29, where it swaps out for the current bug.

Since that package launched 7 years ago.

It is, however, placed to the left of the logo when there isn’t a program name used.
