A new Covid-19-themed ident that aired for the first time about ten minutes ago.
At least they werenât using the âwe are all in this togetherâ line. Itâs not necessarily for Nine to show such promos itâs the NSW Government job to say this. Plus the promo is too adult to child in its approach.
I think the fact that the TV networks are doing more to promote the COVID response than the federal and some state governments is more a reflection on said governments than it is on the TV networksâŚ
Channel 9 having issues. The top screen is split with the bottom screen. Is it just my TV or the same issue with everyone?
The black bar was moving up slowly, with the channel 9 logo on the top for the 60 mins promo

UPDATE: The yellow Channel 9 logo has now disappeared off the screen on Today Extra and the infomercials. Also the time is gone.

Apparently the âStill the Oneâ slogan was used during todayâs upfront.
The phrase used was âTelevision, Still The Oneâ.
This followed a montage of various news clips plus Nine programs over the years with a gravelly voiceover of a television personified . âIn my life âŚâ
Definitely a nod to Ch9âs Still the One days of bygone years I reckon.
Hopefully a refresh is coming after the UpfrontsâŚ
Looking at our broadcast schedules, and the amount of content now not on FTA, that does not appear to be the case at all.
