Nine On-Air Presentation

The 3D logo on sponsor boards have never bothered me , as long as the watermark and PRG is correct logo I don’t care much. Just sucks that the days of yearly presentation change are long gone including other channels!

Spot the difference between Big Purple & the w/m in the corner.
Hint: One of them is 9 years old and 3D

I don’t believe it…

“AFTER THE TENNIS” is back! :upside_down_face:

First ever time on Nine after 7 years, after becoming a hit staple tagline for Seven from the mid-2000s.

Just saw a TP ‘2025’ promo during tonight’s movie premiere (9:56pm edt).

Really time to dump these catch-up brands, makes everything so ugly. Everything is moving back to just the network name.

Didn’t Channel 4 already attempt something similar in the UK, which sparked significant outrage from their viewers?

It actually makes sense to consider a partnership or integration between Stan and 9Now. By combining Stan Sport and Stan Event PPV content with Stan Originals on 9Now, they could create a stronger platform to compete with giants like Disney+, Netflix, and others, especially as those platforms also venture into live sports, news, and similar content.

I dunno if the Channel 4 SVOD rebrand fits this tbh.

Bingo. It’s 2025 - viewers know where to find the content online. And if they don’t by now, they probably never will.

Especially as extra brands just confuse people, Nine should want 9 and Stan to be at forefront, not more brands to worry about. One one that makes sense is ABC iView as they have a greater scope and it’s basically a free SVOD service.

9now is more than a catchup brand now.

7 have been putting 7+ on primos for a while now too

4 on Demand, my5 and 10Play are all brands that have gone away (or going away) for the streaming services.

It’s now (or soon) just 4, 5 and 10

9Now and 7+ will follow in time. So too will iView.

Been watching allot of US tv lately and haven’t seen them mention their apps, tho I have seen allot of “watch the next day on hulu/max”.

Most promos are now just

NBC | Peacock
CBS | Paramount
ABC | Hulu

On the end boards without the VO saying the network at the end of the promo.

Exactly, they’re all SVOD’s. Not the website catch-up. It should be Nine | Stan.

There is a difference - US Network programming is avail on their parent’s streaming platform

NBC’s Today, Chicago Fire and Dateline are on all
Peacock.

Likewise ABC’s 911, Grey’s and Abbott Elementary - all on Hulu.

In Oz, you can’t get TheBlock, Married or LoveIsland on Stan

Exactly people can’t compare US with Aus.
They don’t have catch-up streaming services which can I say also for 7 9 and 10 all are commercialised as extensions to the FTA sponsorships…, it’s sold as a bulk thing.

In the US Peakcock etc is the two in one.

They do tho. All the networks have their own apps such like we. Probably not commercial free but they still have catch up available.

Last I checked CBS features all catchup on Paramount plus with episodes within the first 10-15 days free and then beyond that timeframe they go premium. It’s the one app.
