It wouldn’t be too out of the ordinary for the current PRG formatting to remain in play in the event of gradual relaunch.
In the 90s until early 2000s the formatting stayed very similar, ( 9. Title. ‘G’ ) And the changes were gradual, usually to the change in logo style (static to motion) and a font update.
Which is what is happening with the current Promo and PRG tickers (Flat replacing 3D)
Wonder if Nine have any staff left in presentation or playout from the 2000s, let alone 90s. I know networks still have some technical crew from behind the scenes departments dating back decades, often unheralded crucial players. Seven still have a few in promotions going back to the 90s, explains why their style and v/o have rarely changed the past decade let alone 20 years, given their big success from the mid-2000s onwards.
Why is it rated M? And language and themes of all things! Has this supposedly long-time family friendly 7:30pm reality show now become a Married-esque adult-oriented show. What, F-bombs and talking about suicide or DV or crime or something
This week’s Footy Classified airings on GEM in NSW/QLD had watermark issues. Apologies for poor image quality and scaling as I don’t do computer capping/watching.
On Monday, the program had the Nine watermark for the first two segments except for the opener, full screen white graphics and the break bumper had no watermark (obviously source related) before the GEM watermark showed up for segment three, overlapping with the Nine for half the segment before the Nine disappeared once and for all.
On Wednesday, the Nine watermark again with the same characteristics, although the GEM watermark played normally (on top of the Nine) in segment one but they gave up after that with the Nine remaining for the rest of the episode, with a brief watermarkless period in the final segment.
