Love it all except the disjointed supers. The set is so versatile it almost looks like it was made for the new package (or maybe the package is influenced by the set?)

Definitely not the Sydney set because it had lightbox graphics next to the main videowall plus a huge screen on RHS which Sydney doesn’t have

I think they should align the top super with the bottom one.
You have to read it diagonally at the moment.

Wow that screen image would make for an amazing title card where the dots could fly in and create the logo

That state weather shot was not good.
Looks like a mixing desk error.
Melbourne cut them off early. Poor form.

It looks great. Very clean and a nice idea sits behind them that goes well into the 9 branding.
There is nothing revolutionary and the similar colour pallet will not alienate viewers - it’s not a total revolution. But looks good!

Mixed views from me on this relaunch.
I like the colour scheme and the globe looks less dated than I thought it would. The animations are very nice. I also like how the dots are appearing in a few places.
On the other hand, I feel like some of the graphics are a little too big (some supers and the weather graphics). The supers are designed nicely but executed poorly, constrained by that ugly solid logo.

I would drop the dotty Australia and keep it for national bulletins.
Maybe add a small local icon to each city?
Syd - harbour bridge or centrepoint tower maybe?
Mel - myer music bowl?
NBN could just run without one.
Also - Sydney lighting and backgrounds don’t look great with the new graphics colours.
For Today, just use the Today logo and Australian map, and use light blue?
Just some quick thoughts

Or just not have anything next to the logo.
Or the state ? Vic map, NSW map etc.
