Slightly unrelated but….
In Perth Natalia does the Weather for both the Afternoon and Evening News Bulletins.
Should this become the norm.
With decreasing revenue, it seems an unnecessary waste of money to be paying
presenters for an Afternoon Bulletin, and then a new round of Presenters for a Evening Bulletin two hours later.

You didn’t say anything about the news presenters you gave an example of Natalia doing weather in both bulletins.

I imagine both are already doing other duties eg. sourcing info for other voiceover items as well as presenting weather and if the 4pm weather presenter doesn’t present 6pm weather then they just leave earlier like most other reporters?
So I don’t think it makes a great deal of difference from a cost perspective.. Probably also good to have some redundancy in terms of backfill for weather presenting, not just the same person doing it all the time.
Saturday (18.07.2026): Wendy Kingston is presenting in Brisbane tonight! Her first time reading since 2024-25 summer I believe.
