It must really come down to Paul - he has become the face of the bulletin. This week he was solo on Thursday and Friday and several weeks he is also solo on Wednesdays. His cheerful animated presentation is somewhat of a contrast to Nine’s 6pm bulletin.
Tonight he present a report on the 6pm bulletin about weather presenter Luke Bradman who had had a health scare being diagnosed with a melanoma but reported to have a good prognosis.

He kinda looks a bit like Bruce if I was being honest. Perhaps viewers couldn’t tell the difference and thought Bruce was still there (even with the farewell and all)
