I agree. Management at STW certainly have some decisions to make regarding their presenters. Natalia is too good to just be a fill in, but they have so many capable news presenters now. Thomson, Kos, and Vo all do really well in their roles.

If it was me, Iā€™d be putting Natalia on the afternoon news and pairing Monika with Michael for 6pm, leaving weekends as is.

Sheā€™s doing weekends though and appearing every now and then (rotating with others). I was talking about potentially getting Today Perth News back and having Natalia host permanently and Tracy staying on weekends (hypothetically).

When I moved to the Gold Coast back in 1997 - I had expected it would be read from Brisbane - but still I remember getting a nice surprise when I saw the ā€œLive from 50 Cavill Avenueā€ sting during the bulletin.

I donā€™t know if Iā€™ve seen it read from Brisbane before. Good use of facilities if the GC isnā€™t able to get on air/lack of talent though.
