That studio is much more suited to just the one presenter, but what they’re trying to achieve with that backdrop looks terrible side on.
Just go with a live image or loop of Surfers, simple.

Basically since the start of Nine’s new graphics package.
Done to have a similar look to the metro bulletins and one would guess some more depth? Terribly executed.

I’m sure Jo’s got much better things to be doing than reading weekend news. Looking at her social media she is often at Collingwood games, at other events on weekends etc.
I think her current arrangement suits her fine.
