Nine News Presenters and Reporters (2020-Feb 2025)

God that is cringey.

I’d love for Wendy to do weekends, but I’d guess it will be Aislin.

Still better than this:

Yes, he even acknowledged us viewers saying goodbye, not like the usual “thanks for your company”.

Going places at 7? She’d just been shafted from Sunrise and was floating around doing not much.

Heading home it seems.

Does anyone know since when Aislin Kriukelis has been presenting sport on weeknights in Brisbane?

Was watching Nine News Queensland last night (I’m holidaying in south east Queensland).

Sport is shared between Dominique, Bronte, Paul and Aislin since Jono disappeared in June.

Only was a matter of time, Davina has been flying back and forth all year. 10 years in the Morning and Afternoon News role is a big achievement in itself.

Now it beggars the question on who will present the morning news on the days Davina would normally present

Most likely Kate Creedon, since the other regular fill in presenters now have new roles (Jayne does Today News, Sophie Walsh hosts Weekend Today, and Lizzie Pearl does Weekend Today news), although one or two of them could do a few days, with Mark Burrows possibly picking up an extra day or two.

Maybe Sophie 3 days and Lizzie 2 days?

Could be, especially so they don’t lose Kate by having her in the studio 4 days a week.

Another question would be would Mark Burrows still be needed on Mondays, or will they send him back into the field 5 days a week, with the odd filling in at 6pm.

Lizzie would be a good appointment, She’s a strong presenter.

Is it easier to work for ACA from Toowoomba than the news?

Apparently Davina’s last day is December 5. So we still have her on Morning & Afternoon News duties for the rest of the year.

Apparently only a 90 minute drive from Toowoomba to QTQ. I think many people in Sydney and Melbourne would have worse?

Maybe they’ll have some arrangement she can work from home/out of WIN Toowoomba and drive to Brisbane when needed? Who knows.

Yep, here’s one. Brayden ripped this bulletin from QLD and NT Television Archive’s YouTube channel, and with most local ad breaks removed, except for one ad break 29 minutes and 15 seconds into the video. Entire video is PAL-pitched too, and a Dell Technologies ad is seen at the very beginning of this. No ugly green seen here though.

Original upload by QLD and NT Television Archive.
