Another dual Nine/2GB presenter, Neil Breen presented Sport on Nine News Sydney tonight.
As expected, Sophie Walsh presented Sydney weather. Even after seeing her present only one forecast (yes, Iâm aware that sheâs presented some weather for Brisbaneâs bulletin in the past), I think Nine should get Sophie to fill in on Sydneyâs weather more often!

I always watch Nine News at 6. However on Friday night I switched after 20 mins to seven because of Ben Fordham.
Interestingly the ratings also dropped off in the second half. I think heâs a very bad option for Nine News at 6.

Tony is doing the morning show on 3AW and did whatâs making news on th Today show. Surprised he isnât reading the 6pm news as well, given he isnât on a holiday as such.
@lepatron Justine (weather presenter) did say to him enjoy your holidays Tony at the end of Friday nights bulletin.And Tony did say on twitter that night see you next year.But Tony has been filling in for Neil Mitchell on 3AW for the past two weeks,obviously that is continuing this week. So he is on a working holiday!

I agree. Even for the Christmas Night bulletin, Nine News Sydney probably couldâve gotten better news & sport presenters. After last nightâs ratings, I donât think weâll be seeing Ben Fordham and Neil Breen on Sydneyâs Christmas Night bulletin in 2017 (at least I hope not anyway).
For what itâs worth, Belinda Russell returned to present the weather on Sydneyâs bulletin tonight. Although after last night, I personally think Sophie Walsh should be Sydneyâs 2nd in line weather presenter behind Amber. Yes, Sophie hasnât been at TCN for as long as BelindaâŚbut just do it Nine!

For those interested - Today show reporter Jessica Millward and Nine News reporter Joel Dry announced their engagement on Instagram today.
That was ridiculous, who signs off the news bulletin with âCiaoâ, come on Ben youâre reading the 6pm news, take it seriously mate.
They wonât change Belinda simple fact is due to who she is married to.
