…there’s something about [Belinda’s] presenting style I’m not too sure about…[/quote] It is really something I can’t pin-point, I just know I don’t like her presenting nor her personality (seen on NNN). IMO, her stint on the Early News was certainly not long enough for her to be put on the 6pm.
I saw a new reporter based on the GC tonight, Mia Glover. Seems really talented.
I just thought that with Natalia presenting NNN today, she might have continued with the weather on th6pm News. On that note, Natalia would probably be the best suited to the weather presenter if/when Amber leaves/removed. Sophie Walsh, Kate Creedon and Julie Snook would all be better weather presenters than Belinda.
Yeah, I believe that Mia Glover recently joined Nine/NBN Gold Coast after a stint at WIN News Canberra and radio news in Sydney prior to that. Probably a reporter we’ll see go onto very big things in the future!
Nicole appears to only have one account (unlike Mia who has two accounts). All I could find was this one https://twitter.com/nicolerowles9
You may notice it initially would seem like a 9 account but interestingly her NBN email address and the NBN website is listed. It’s no surprise really when you’re a reporter based in one of those “overlap” markets like the Gold Coast.
I personally would’ve thought that we would be more likely to see Nine Sydney appoint one of their female sports presenters/reporters to become Ken Sutcliffe’s successor when the time comes…
I personally believe, Tim Gilbert is the most obvious successor to Sutcliffe when he retires. I know Erin and Yvonne are good, but if Tim wasn’t given his current position on Today I honestly believe he would have replaced Cameron Willams on the Friday/Saturday bulletins earlier this year. I would assume, a veteran replaces a veteran.
Erin Molan and Yvonne Sampson are both better presenters than Tim Gilbert. Neil Breen has no chance of taking over from Ken Sutcliffe, and Danny Weidler, luckily for the viewers, probably prefers to be a reporter.
