Somehow I’m not surprised that a Sydney reporter wasn’t sent down a reporter to cover that game, knowing it’s not a game Nine are airing and that the Storm & Sharks are perhaps not the favourite teams of the network knowing how they both only got 4 FTA games this year…
True, but it IS a big game…one that Nine SHOULD have been airing, but that is for another thread

Brett McLeod has been in Nine’s LA bureau for about one month mainly focusing on Donald Trump stories, he said on twitter today was his final story from US.As @Mischievous1 mentioned Sydney reporter Gabrielle Boyle is now in the US for a few weeks obviously taking over from Brett.

Belinda Russell presented the weather on Nine News Sydney tonight, certainly not the first Sunday night in recent times that she’s filled in for Amber Sherlock.
I’m now seriously starting to wonder if Nine Sydney are currently in transition with their weather presenters…

I agree, I wouldn’t put it past that when Amelia Adams heads off Amber Sherlock will take over Morning/Afternoon bulletins and Belinda Russell will be the new Nine News Now presenter & Sydney weather presenter.
I hope not, I really don’t like Belinda.

Actually, change that… possibly Belinda may read one day of Nine News Now with Davina Smith possibly reading Tue-Fri.
I’m sure Belinda Russell is a nice person, but there’s something about her presenting style I’m not too sure about. Too cheery or something like that I think.
Amber Sherlock is definitely a better weather presenter, but I do wonder if she might be expressing a strong interest to have a regular national presenting role again with the recent fill-in stints on Today Extra (if she fills on the show this week, I won’t be surprised!) and Nine News Now.
Afterall, it is worth remembering that Nine Sydney usually seems to change it’s main weather presenters every 4-5 years or so for whatever reason. Amber Sherlock has been Sydney’s main weather presenter for about four years now so if Nine were to continue that “tradition” (which I think is a bit dubious, but anyway) then we’ll probably see Belinda Russell become the main Sydney weather presenter over the next year or so…
