Only joking!
There were reports that Nine had made Tim an offer but he declined.
Emmy was pushed though (or wasnât willing to accept a lesser role perhaps).
Far Out
Luckly, I got one last cap of Googie as what we used to call him here.
I do remember Tony Jones saying on 3AW once that Mark Mcgoogan did look like something out of Cleo Magazine
I think Tim was told he would do more but with no extra $$
As much as I donât want it to be true, I reckon it was a cost cutting move to get rid of Tim & Emmy with no improvement in the ratings this year.
Monday (01.01.2018) - Friday (05.01.2018): Andrew Lofthouse is anchoring solo in Queensland again this week, with Jayde Cotic reading the weather.
Tom Mitchell presented sport Monday - Wednesday, with Dominique Loudon filling-in on Thursday.
I wonder with Susannah Carr back on 7 early then normal
Maybe nine have poached Samantha Jolly.
Interesting option.
Sam featured in 7 News promos I saw yesterday though. Shes on hols at the moment. Anything is possible.
Cue the Law and Order sound effect!
Livinia Nixon is returning to presenting the weather in Melbourne next week.
Allison Langdon is presenting in Sydney tonight.
Theyâre getting a bit excited lol.
So it seems the speculation was correct with Allison becoming a fill in newsreader in Sydney on Friday & Saturday nights this year.
Excellent news if true. Allison screams authority and I think Weekend Today and Nine News are in safe hands.
Yes it does sound good but when was the last time she actually presented a news bulletin at Nine?
I think the last time that Allison Langdon presented a Nine News Sydney bulletin was back in 2010 or 2011 before Deborah Knight joined the network?
Allison presenting on NYE 2010.
I was wondering how many consecutive days Deb would end up working this month before getting a day off, only 9 consecutive days.
But she will probably have some holidays when Peter Overton returns for the year.
Allison does better on news/Today than 60 minutes IMO. I think she will do well, certainly better than Mark Burrows or worse Ben Fordham.
