The nerve of her

Probably meant to say ‘I really wish that Peter Hitchener was next with Nine News’.

I actually wonder if they forgot to put in the autocue “Tony Jones is up next”

Or “Peter’s off today, it should be me, filling in for him, I did it for him and Brian for years, but no, it’s talentless Tony instead. Goodnight”.

“Good evening. Thank you Jo”.

No acknowledgement that the wrong weather segment went to air when Natassia returned. Were they hoping nobody would notice?

Their 2 viewers would definitely notice.

here is a new theory i want to share … what if SCA sold their TV arm to 9 Metro… so SCA could concentrate on its core business of radio and to a lesser online (podcasts), so 9 would have total control of their Signal throughout the country, and maybe strike a deal with SCA to sell advertising in regional markets on their behalf. Don’t discount this idea straight away…

Nine has shown zero interest in buying more TV stations from what I know. They are focused on content and streaming (Stan) and 9Now. All of which are offering explosive Growth

TV station viewing is declining. Can’t see them wanting to buy more TV stations, which will be worth even less and be more irrelevant in 5 or 10 years

If SCA were willing to sell for $1 perhaps, Nine isn’t going to spend any significant sum to acquire the SCA stations.
