It use to be a lot worse. I can recall ACA, TT, The Today Show, even the morning news service knocking off over the summer break.

Back in the early 2000s, Ten News had a summer edition at 7:00pm, though I canât remember if they were local or national. In Sydney at least, they had either Ron Wilson or Jessica Rowe present the bulletin, with Tim Webster on sport.

Wouldnât want a mishmash when Sydney/Perth/Newcastle host the bulletin.
Lines up with Perth apparently getting the graphics in February.
