With the current sets at Nine coming up to almost 10 years old now, it will be interesting to see if there are any updates or new sets this year. I know some have gotten the new desks. Sydney definitely could do with replacing some of the plasma walls.

How many plasmas are still running around in news sets?
They still have them to the right of the set in Sydney and in the soft set for Today,

Didn’t know what to call them as I wanted to distinguish the difference between the TV wall. The sets have held up relatively well since they were introduced first to Perth in 2016.

The sets are fine and IMO feel fresher than Seven’s brand new sets.
They only need small tweaks at most - replace the individual screens with single LED walls (like Adelaide and Perth’s LHS upgrade), and freshen up the Sydney soft set - this is the one area which feels dated and drab during Today.

I agree - they are still relatively fresh, just maybe some lighting tweaks, and give Adelaide and Perth the updated desk, and they should last for at least a few more years.

Why is Brisbane still so dim?
