Just move the remainder of the game on 9Now im my opinion
@Nathan_Kiamco Nope , it resumed after 29 mins of stoppage. 9mins was left on 1st half clock.
Just confirmed that news will follow full-time, so they are sticking with it.
News will be delayed for at least 15-20 mins in NRL states. Ratings tomorrow would have to be adjusted?
Isnāt that a graphic from the old package? Wonder why they havenāt made a new one yet.
Too lazy Iād reckon
The news should be on the main channel at 6pm as scheduled with the Rugby League piut on a multi channel and 9Now. News is scheduled for 6pm and should be on at 6pm and delayed due to a sport being delayed and I am not convinced it would impact ratings that much people have remotes but I would put 9 News on delay after the football finishes on the multi channel
100% on this one. Bad form from the execs and director of Television. Donāt know why they canāt put NRL on multi-channel just like Channel 7
I thought you retired?
All of Nineās other channels are right in the middle of other programming. You want to piss those viewers off who watching those shows?
Thereās no solution that pleases everyone.
Why does this come up every time a game runs a little bit late on 9. As we all know, 9 isnāt going to move the game elsewhere mid match as the delay was caused by weather and they have to honor their contract with the NRL. If it was really late, I would say start the news live at 6pm on 9 Now and then air it on 9 once the game ends.
Or probably put it on 9Gem
So just stop the program thatās currently on 9Gem half way through?
Yep - it doesnāt even move for elections or Olympics.
And thereās always 7News and the ABC News Channel which has news bulletins at 6pm, along with something called the internet where you can get news 24/7.
Why donāt they just put it in the split screen they use for the Isusu Ute ad if people want it at 6 so bad?
At least there is next to no chance of āGolden Pointā extra time (24-14 with 2 mins to go).
That would have been funny if that had happened and the news didnāt start until after 6.30.
Hold on! 24-18 now! Still possible!
To be fair though, the previous program ends at 6pm, and the next scheduled program is a repeat of Dadās Army that they can show at another time, so I doubt it will impact those viewing.
However, it will obviously piss off anyone watching NRL on Nine, which is why Nine is leaving it there.
