Gold Coast news switched their background camera mid bulletin as the one usually used eventually fogged up almost totally.

When did they go back to a live shot? I thought they were using a sunset still similar to the one behind the reporter.

They have been using some form of this shot since June
The Surfers background is almost never used. It may have had an issue today as well. The more usual background is

So this is not a blue screen?? that border around them is very strange.
Nine News Melbourne didn’t cover the storm damage in Melbourne and floods in Gippsland tonight.
They also didn’t have a voice over story on Neil Mitchell’s final 3AW show.
Seven News however covered both of these stories.
No wonder they win in the ratings.

Probabiy more “news” than “current affairs” to me, and that most people outside of Victoria wouldn’t really know who Neil Mitchell is given ACA is a national program.
