Didn’t Melbourne use two anchors during the riots?
Yes. My point is, you’d think a set (specifically, Brisbane) that was designed for 2 anchors all the time would have a dual anchor shot that is centred. Theirs is is offset.
Not at 6pm
It was good to see Andrew and Melissa come back together for Friday night’s bulletin after what has been a massive week of news presentation for the duo and the whole Brisbane team. Sharing a microphone, they presented from The Jazz Club with Andrew putting on a company cap at the end. Unfortunately we missed their full closing comments as they didn’t time them too well and were cut off.
Weird they couldn’t both have a microphone.
Yes, or even mic packs…
Cost cutting measures?
You’d think in this COVID world they’d still each have one.
Maybe a crewing issue getting another microphone to them or the camera op only had one on them or one input available or couldn’t send back enough audio lines with redundancy via Dejero if two were plugged in.
But this isn’t the first time they’ve done this cross. You’d think they would do something about it after the second day.
The audio for Damian Ryan’s Shane Warne tribute failed to work on Nine News Melbourne.
Well the audio worked a second time round
The first segment was all about the passing of Shane Warne. A massive loss to the cricket community and cricket fans. And an absolute tragedy for someone to die in their early 50’s. The world just sucks when people who are famous, you know well and who you love have their life cut short.
Damian Ryan? Isn’t he a somewhat odd choice to do the tribute?
I was thinking Tony Jones, being senior Victorian sport presenter, though I know he doesn’t normally work Saturday.
TJ was on Today and his tribute was shown on Today and on NBN News as well.
