The latest news update looked like Pete was coming from another studio, plus the logo super was positioned higher than normal.

Did you read above?
No. It’s a new “software system” (whatever that means), and new cameras apparently.
They’re probably using the alt. set tonight to adjust to the new system or the main set could not be ready if new cameras are being installed.

Autocue errors towards the end of sport, and weather graphics seem to be struggling too. All static and no OTS graphics for the live cross with Maddie.

Agree. I think there is too much of an obsession with sets on this site sometimes. I think the presenters, reporters, graphics and the content are all more important than the set.
