Is this Rob Brough from 7 News Sunshine Coast being interviewed for 9 News? If so, it’s interesting that they only used his first name.
I saw this last week I think it was, it was a special report on Wally Lewis’ daughter Jamie-Lee, who had overcome some adversities and was following in her fathers footsteps of playing league and Rob was interviewed as he’s the coach of the team she plays for.

Caps from tonight’s Solo read of Nine News Adelaide with Kate Collins. Warren Tredrea on location for Sport & I think Chelsea Carey has been doing Weather on location since she’s been relieving Jessica Braithwaite whose still on Maternity Leave. Standard OTS Weather graphics also. Again love the Update OTS being used, also a point of difference as I’ve said before with the usual no theme closer but of late it’s been the usual theme and stinger.

Forget the curved screen, Nine News Sydney really should be using the RHS videowall for weather.
It annoys me to no end that the station is very lucky to have two videowalls as part of their set (while Melbourne/Adelaide only have the LHS one while Brisbane has none), yet very rarely uses them on-air!

Is BTQ doing anything in response to this giveaway? Kerry Packer would never let Seven get away with enticing his viewers away with prizes back in the day. I still look back on “Bingo Wars” fondly.
Perhaps they need to get the Cash Cow up to Brisbane to bribe the viewers back to Seven. Would Tony Auden object to becoming the Cash Cane Toad if the Cash Cow can’t make it to Brissie?

Seven has a big promotion at the moment for The Chase - adverts on radio across the day with prizes for watching. Get the viewers early.

Brett McLeod accidentally said “That’s Melbourne’s afternoon news” before correcting it to “That’s Nine’s afternoon news”.

Not the thing they should be promoting- Seven just have to quip that Jane Bunn is a meteorologist. Try Pete’s four decades of experience or that they’ve had the same weeknight team for 15 years.
