It’s a great promo but they need to ditch “Queensland’s No.1 Newsroom” tag. I still don’t know what qualifies a newsroom as being the best

Not too sure if I’d believe that, knowing the amount of reporters who’ve left Nine News Queensland in recent times - reminds me a bit of how Seven News Sydney (who’s current/recent content standards are arguably almost as bad as QTQ’s) have seen so many high profile reporters leave their newsroom in recent times as well.
I think we have a winner here!
Speaking of major promo launches, I really hope the team here in Sydney will have something soon. Although admittedly, it’s going to be extremely hard to top the promo with Brian Henderson in the “chatting up Peter Overton” series that ran earlier year! 
It’s not the best; it’s just number one - I though we established a while ago there’s a sign on the door Newsroom Number 1 .

Live report from Darling Harbour. Why? James Packer has no doubt been there over the years, but the area is irrelevant to the story. The proposed Crown casino is at Barangaroo.

Barangaroo is part of Darling Harbour, until the development started the wharf was officially called ‘East Darling Harbour’.
Looks like he is actually at Pyrmont though, north of the maritime museum with the Crown construction site behind him across the water.

Thanks @TV.Cynic it is great to have a comparison of the two bulletins.
I think they are equal to each other; equally as bad. Nine’s biggest let down is their set, IMO. They seem to have a quality team (including reporters) with a number of live crosses. The rundown and story arrangement was quite awful and the reasoning behind having the double-header read the first three stories is quite bewildering.
Bruce’s ‘style’ definitely suits the sensationalist Queensland.

Talked to an insider at Nine a few months back who used the words psychopath to describe some members of staff. Sounds about as toxic as they come.

Nine Live Perth (10/7/2018) has just have a technical issue during the weather segment where it suddenly changes to the display graphic and with Tracy Vo doing the remaining.
Not the first time that this has happened as it also occurred when Scherri-Lee was almost finished when she was presenting the weather live in Joondalup months ago.
