Nine News Content and Appearance (2015-Sept 2020)

What town are you in?
Albury is the name that the whole Border North East region will see on their channels, as Albury is considered to be the biggest town, and therefore the centre of the region.
There’s also historical reason in that the towns that had TV licences pre-agregation became that central areas for each post-aggregation area.

That is an awful backdrop. Who thought an extreme close up of the Opera House would look good?

Pretty sure Seven News Sydney showed this back when the footage emerged!

Not only., but that’s a story which aired on Seven Brisbane. Exclusive my arse.

That “Rail Removalist” story reminds me of when The Chaser’s War On Everything did a sketch where they tried to use a Sydney bus as a removalist service.

So it’s now official: Commercial TV news is turning into a comedy show! :open_mouth:

most likely copied and pasted from the script placed in the autocue. gotta spell those things out the way they’re said (nineteen eighty five)

Same concept but unfair to call it the same story. Had lots of new vision of incidents happening at Sydney train stations. Hardly anything from Queensland but a few seconds of old footage to fill gaps.

Fascinating stuff - surely this story deserved a big Nine watermark or at least “First On” label.

It was on Nine News Sydney too.

Interesting presentation element in Nine’s Sydney bulletin tonight with Cam doing a standing presentation for the last report (announcing his Cup tips) and then returning to the desk to sit next to Pete to sign off.
