Id say thats from the toss studio with a huge lcd screen no green screen.
Id say from their toss small studio
It was the same EP who produced nines federal election coverage tonight. Also the director was not an STW director. Great use of the studio, although I think the laptops made things look a bit tacky.
Wow, those laptops are certainly proving useful. Next time Nine should just provide phone chargers instead.
The phones are being used to read text messages from various sources.
Perhaps iPads next time, that way the texts can go through them too.
Nine used a ā9 Exclusiveā watermark on their Schapelle Corby story tonight rather than the usual āFirst on 9ā.
The way it should be.
Enjoying watching Nine News Sydney in Canberra tonight, a pity itās not available tomorrow night.
Stream itā¦
It still thinks Iām in Sydney.
NSW gets Sydney news on 9now, regardless of where in the state you are.
Great reporting from Mark Burrows who is in Indonesia.
In Sydney they had the David Taylor verdict live on air
In Melbourne they had David Taylor leaving the court live
Nine Melbourne leading with Bruceās Cancer story.
Seven yet to run story, bit awkward to say at least.

The Bruce McAvaney story hasnāt rated a mention at all on Nineās Sydney news tonight. Disappointing considering he is a broadcasting icon even if he is a Seven talent and commentates AFL for half the year.
Well, he isnāt a big name in Sydney.
It would be akin to Channel Seven Melbourne covering a similar issue regarding Ray Warren or Ken Sutcliffe.
And regarding Seven Melbourne not covering the McAvaney issue prominently, it was probably done out of respect for Bruce, as I canāt imagine he would want much coverage at all.
Rubbish. McAvaney has only been on Sydney screens for decades as the face of tennis and Olympics coverage.
He is currently a Sydney twitter trending topic and was headline news on the SMH site before 7pm so you canāt seriously claim he isnāt a big name.
Once or twice a year he might appear on Sydney TV screens in a prominent fashion, but thatās about it. Twitter and sites like SMH cover everything, not really a great yardstick, imo.
It was the top story on Seven Adelaide.
