Only last night (at this stage; excl. WA) due to The Latest moved to 7pm.
Seven has another 30 minute gap tonight so will see if the numbers were good enough to do it again tonight.

Disappointing that 9 is airing their AEDT bulletin an hour later in QLD, with most of the news now updated given Scott Morrison’s latest press conference. This is a big benefit of 7’s local late news. Especially since Peter keeps mentioning an upcoming press conference with Scomo which was shown live into QLD an hour ago.
When it comes to ‘flagship’ bulletins such as Nine’s late news & The Latest, the networks don’t mimic what the ‘big 3’ US networks do for their evening news and update those bulletins for later time zones when/if needed? It would prevent the problem you outlined

Full schedule
Is that her usual giant chair from the regional bulletins?
Also I notice that the backdrop didn’t change to the control room with giant nine logo when she crossed to the reporter in london, her background only changes randomly on regional broadcasts.
Obviously. It’s a different bulletin and because regional news uses a green screen.
No FEAR here but you have precisely 5hrs, 49mins and 12secs until you are locked out.
Network promos
They were obviously all versioned out of the promo hub in Sydney, with local stations sending in lines taped on their sets
So why does the NBN Newcastle one not have local talent and set?
In Sydney tonight, the middle of the sports segment was interrupted by the PM press conference, after which there was a live cross to Chris Uhlmann in Canberra before the bulletin wrapped up with no weather segment at the end.
Same in Melbourne. Instead of going back to Alicia Loxley after the press conference we also got Peter Overton. MAFS started at 7.03.
A) Another reason why 9 News sucks
B) Why would they post this?!
cause no other station’s had bloopers?
Not sure why Nine couldn’t run over to perhaps quarter-past.
MAFS is the network’s number one show. I guess they didn’t want to risk its audience going elsewhere…
If it is the number 1 show then surely they would wait for it.
60 Minutes being LIVE in some markets last night would’ve factored heavily into the decision to stick to the schedule. I was shocked when they didn’t complete the bulletin but perhaps guests and satellite times were locked in for certain periods last night and couldn’t be moved at the last minute without hampering the production.
Nine’s Morning News was 1 hour today in Sydney (11.30am-12.30pm). Felt odd calling it morning after midday. lol.
Any idea if the one-hour news would be on for the whole week or so?
