I notice Seven have “Jurassic Park” (1993) Rpt scheduled for next Saturday on the main channel.
Not sure if they’ll be airing the sequels.
What’s going on with the rights there?
Pet hate seeing movie franchises with individual rights on different networks, resulting in movies missing out on one when they’re played sequentially.
A guess: As Seven’s Universal Pictures deal has lapsed, it could be the last time, Jurassic Park originals will probably end up on Nine
Do these still rate? One of the most ‘done to death’ (repeated) franchises on TV.
I could imagine Deathly Hallows 1 & 2 doing the best.

Thank you to Nine for providing some new content for November. I can’t remember the last time someone has actually tried and made an effort to air something in the last month of ratings. Good to see and I’m sure they’ll be rewarded for this decision with reasonable ratings.
Looks like Nine’s plan is to show all eight Harry Potter movies on Friday and Saturdays over the next four weeks. On the final night of official ratings (Saturday December 2) Nine will have the second Ashes test live from Adelaide in primetime (except in Perth). Not sure what the network will schedule for Friday December 1.
EDIT: with Queensland state election coverage on Saturday November 25, Queensland viewers should get Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows part 2 either on 9GO! the same night, or on the main channel on Friday December 1.

The Credit Union Christmas Pageant, which celebrates its 85th anniversary this year, will be held on the streets of Adelaide CBD on this day. There is a replay on Nine in SA at 7pm, which could mean the Harry Potter movie moves to 9GO! as well. The event will be shown live on Nine in SA from 10.30am ACDT (11am AEDT) and streamed live nationally on 9Now at the same time.

Sylvia Jeffreys and a host of familiar faces get together to show you how to make Christmas extra special this year on Christmas with The Australian Women’s Weekly, Saturday, November 25, at 7.00pm on Channel Nine.
Renowned global chef Curtis Stone will make your mouth water as he cooks a sweet and spicy glazed ham perfect for Christmas lunch.
Family favourite presenter Charli Robinson gets creative with Christmas craft for the whole family and also goes behind the scenes on The Weekly’s Christmas fashion shoot to find out what’s hot for the festive season.
Julie Goodwin returns to give a masterclass at her cooking school, making a salmon and lobster remoulade and delicious Vietnamese prawn cakes with dipping sauce.
The Weekly’s food gurus, Xanthe Roberts and Fran Abdalloui, have a dessert to make your Christmas guests beg for a second helping: a stunning hazelnut espresso drizzle cake.
Australia’s gift wrapping queen, Vivienne Anthon, demonstrates the best techniques to have your Christmas presents looking like works of art.
The Block favourites Michael and Carlene get creative in a DIY project as they construct festive animal stools for the kids.
Livinia Nixon shares the heartwarming story of the K-Mart/Salvos Wishing Tree Appeal which is in its 30th year of raising gifts for those in need at Christmas time.
And Curtis Stone finishes off with a delectable treat: a raspberry and chocolate ripple ice cream cake which entices Sylvia, Charli and others to gather around the table with him for a festive feast.
Just a pity that Gogglebox will be over for the year before they get to review this show.
I still remember the households reviewing the 2015 “Easter with the Australian Women’s Weekly” special in Season 1. After that review, I can’t look at these shows the same way again!
Lisa hosted it last year, but it was Georgie in 2014-15, Shelley in 2013 and Natalie Gruzlewski in 2012. Not crazy to think Sylvia was it form the start.
