The duration given for the ARIA Awards seems to be too short, unless some awards are given out in the Premiere Show at around 6pm Sydney time. Here is the order of program (from ARIA website):

I wonder if this will come out of Sydney, seeing as Nine are using the Melbourne studio?

Given it’s not going to Melbourne, it won’t be coming from there.

Not very often you see an ad for a program airing at 1am (just aired during the cricket)

Better than promoting tonight’s 60 Minutes at 9:27 PM during the final overs of the T20 final tonight.

Switch over now you’ll see the last 10 minutes!

I saw that too and thought it was odd!

Perhaps they were hoping viewers will watch it on 9Now (even though it wasn’t advertised that way).

It is a two-part series produced by Firecracker Films for Channel 5. It premiered in Britain in February 2021.

In 2003, Luke Mitchell was accused of brutally murdering 14-year-old schoolgirl Jodi Jones.

He maintains his innocence to this day and now, after 17 years, two former detectives who are now private investigators are working together to re-examine the police and prosecution’s case against Mitchell.

In this new two-part series, they uncover information which could possibly cast doubt on the verdict, including new evidence which emerged from a witness who was living in the area at the time, and details of another male’s DNA found at the scene.

The 2021 Christmas with Delta special was played on the big screen outside The Concourse theatre at Chatswood in Sydney last night.

However, I saw comments on social media that Delta also filmed new content at The Concourse last night for this year’s special, which would air on Sunday, December 11.

Indeed I can confirm for a fact that Delta’s 2022 Christmas special was filmed in the Concert Hall in the Concourse in the last week or so.

First week with the unofficial ratings period now finished.

Another factual for Nine’s Thursday line up

Police After Dark

Thursday 1 December

Observational documentary series following the police officers of Gloucestershire working on the night shift.

I’m surprised that Nine didn’t run the two Christmas Lego Masters episodes on consecutive nights this week instead of leaving the second to run outside of the ratings period. Especially when the winner of this year’s ratings could come down to the results of this final week. Bricksmas was a top performer last year and would likely have got several hundred thousand more viewers on Monday that My Mum Your Dad will.

Ending with another whimper. The schedules are so light these days you’d be forgiven for thinking non-ratings runs 40 weeks a year.

Could they still? Change it tomorrow morning, especially if well received again, with some marketing throughout the day including on broadcast during news and aca. I’d tip that.

According to today’s Herald Sun, Nine is understood to be head hunting Melbourne’s top real estate agents for a new locally based production on their trials and tribulations, in a similar vein to Amazon’s Luxe Listings Sydney. A pilot was filmed recently featuring some of Melbourne’s top agents, many of whom had since opted out.
