Very late scheduling for Nine News Late in AFL states on Wednesday and Thursday. NRL states get it about an hour earlier. On Wednesday, is Foot Classified really a 10:50 pm show rather than ay 9:50 with News following then on Thursday why is a repeat of New Amsterdam before the news?
The Great Australian Detour is a nine-part series now airing on Saturdays until June 4 on Channel Nine. Episode 1 is now available on 9Now.

The Thing About Pam, based on one of the most perplexing murder cases in modern-day America, premieres Tuesday, April 19, at 8.50pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
The Thing About Pam is based on the 2011 murder of Betsy Faria that resulted in her husband Russâs conviction, although he insisted he didnât kill her. He was later exonerated. This brutal crime set off a chain of events that would expose a diabolical scheme deeply involving Pam Hupp.
A thorough examination of the scheme was featured on several episodes of Dateline NBC, becoming one of the most popular topics to ever air on the hit franchise. It also became the subject of a popular 2019 podcast, The Thing About Pam , which has been downloaded over 20 million times.
The limited series also features Katy Mixon as Betsy Faria (American Housewife, Mike & Molly, My Name is Earl, Two and a Half Men), Glenn Fleshler as Russ Faria (The Joker, Billions, True Detective, Watchmen, The Twilight Zone), Gideon Adlon as Mariah Day (The Craft: Legacy, The Mustang, Blockers, The Society), Sean Bridgers as Mark Hupp (The Underground Railroad, Deadwood, Get Shorty), Suanne Spoke as Janet (Station 19, Second Chances with Jason Nash, Whiplash) and Mac Brandt as Detective McCarrick (Lovecraft Country, Kingdom, Night Shift, Game Over , Man!, Venom).

Grown Up Love?
According to online guides, it will be the debut of American florist competition show Full Bloom, which spotlight up and coming florists from across the country. Two seasons were made by Eureka Productions for HBO Max in 2020 and 2021.

Ten fabulous up-and-coming florists attempt to create flowing botanical waterfalls before the top two contestants lead their teams in a larger-than-life group challenge.

Nine will air the traditional NRL ANZAC Day match between the Dragons and Roosters. Coverage starts at 3,00pm (with a 4.00pm kick-off) in Sydney and Brisbane, and assumedly on 9Gem in other cities
Why does the coverage start so early? I remember the days coverage would begin no more than 5-10 minutes before kick off.
Itâs the same for the Sunday afternoon NRL Match (3pm start for a 4pm kick-off). To be honest, a lot of the time, it is filler content. Coverage should start at 3.30pm (to name team lists and some âfillerâ).
I can understand an early start for the ANZAC Day game as they do show the pre-match ANZAC Ceremony held on the ground before the match.
Yes 3pm-6pm Melbourne time 9Gem.
I know why they do it, they can spread the investment over more hours and simultaneously eliminate the spending on other content broadcast for those timeslots, but this kind of thing is contra to the reduced attention spans of viewers these days.
It has always been Foxtelâs domain to provide this kind of comprehensive and repetitive sports content, that is, IMO, their value proposition ala Fox Footy and Fox League as well as the nightly plethora of various shows.
FTA will end up worse than radio if all they continue to do is stretch everything, rather than competing with other services with engaging content.
Why would I sit there watching three hours, if I can cut lots of bits out and join later, that is what I do often with Sevenâs AFL. Cut a lot of the waffle that frankly adds nothing.
