Oh Yeah, the annual New Years Eve Broadcast Of The Australia Only Hit Film Can’t Stop the Music is Broadcast.

11.10pm for Can’t Stop the Music!
Is that the earliest it has been on? Think it was around a 1am start last year from memory.

I’m fairly sure Seven had the television premiere and replayed it several times throughout the 1980s.

According to my records, “Can’t Stop The Music” premiered on Nine on Sunday 14th August 1983, at least in Sydney.

Fair enough. I have a vague memory of watching it on Seven around that time. Must be mistaken.

Where’s The Hangover Part 2?

Not a bad line up to kick start Nine’s year.

I thought it used to be on 7…

Schedule Update

Saturday 5 January

The Hopman Cup will be shown on the main channel in all markets from 7pm.

Previously scheduled main channel programs will switch to 9Gem.

Probably due to the final most likely being Switzerland vs Australia/Germany.

And no BBL on Seven or any major competition for that matter… Willy Wonka and NCIS New Orleans.
