I always thought this would be better for 10 peach since basically that’s a sitcom repeat channel. So it feels odd to me that it’s on 10 Shake.

It airs on 10 Peach but usually only airs a few episodes a week whilst 10 Shake airs it way more often, usually 3-5 episodes a night while 10 Peach would be lucky to have 1 episode in a day.

Assuming the US has a promo with a sort of logo evolution?

Thats good to know, I currently find 10 Shake’s offering kind of underwhelming imo, plenty of repeat eps (Think of it as like a loop).
I am curious about nick@nite, hopefully there is more original content than whats currently offered (Repeats of MTV Cribs, Catfished, Workaholics, and the occasional South Park episode).

IIRC they had to wait a few years for new eps as Foxtel had first-window, with 10 Shake having second-window. Hopefully it changes with Foxtel Nickelodeon shutting down.

If Nickelodeon’s only channel will be on FTA taking into account that the Foxtel channel closes, It’s likely there will be more first run content (they may have to restart many series to “catch up”, or burn through existing eps in a marathon)
I hope they keep some existing Comedy Central/MTV content for nick@nite and hopefully bring some more modern content from both platforms, like early + current eps of South Park, Beavis And Butthead, to name a few. Probably too ambitious tho, it would have to rate really well which 10 Shake hasn’t in a while (or at all)
But we will see come August 1!

Agreed the nick @ nite content could potentially do well, it’d be good to see Beavis, South Park etc and then maybe older classics overnight.

Would definitely be better than whats currently on offer (preschool programming starting at 3am and not ending until 3pm when usually a SpongeBob episode airs)

Good to see some archiving of the channel before it becomes Nickelodeon. I still wonder if Nick@Nite is just the same shows that 10 Shake currently airs at nighttime.

Just 0.3% share last night, absolutely awful, no surprises something had to change (in prime time at least), lets hope Nickelodeon is it. A FTA movie premiere last night too from Roadshow. When similarly new channels 9Rush and even 7Bravo are doing significantly better, as well as ABC and SBS’, also a night where people surf m/c and they often do well.

May also have been due to 9Go! and Seven/7mate frequently airing name brand movies in that same slot and having relatively better shares. Also didn’t know those movies last night were FTA premiere
